The Masks We Wear

Hide your face so the world can never find you.




I find it amazing how so many of us can hide who we really are. So many of us can just put on a mask.. A mask that we want the world to see. Not just one mask either. We have multiple masks that we wear... We want to impress some people even though they might not even deserve your time and effort, we just want to be accepted but we go around saying we don't care what other people think, we put up fronts so we don't have to explain to people why we are the way we are, we want to look strong when we are really screaming inside...




People say all the time... Just be yourself! It's so much easier said than done. First, you have to find create yourself... this is an ever ongoing practice. You can't expect someone else to make you who you are. You can't depend on someone else to create you... Noone can do that but you.

Everyone does it. We do it all the time. But why do we do it when we know it’s wrong?
